THE PRICE PER PERSON FOR THIS FAMILY GET TOGETHER IS $100.00 each (FREE, Ages 4 and younger)*. We ARE keeping this is simple! That fee covers the cost of Friday's Cookout and Saturday's Group Tours.

*Unfortunately, there will NOT be any event t-shirts or bags. We will try post a "preferred" hotel. There are multiple events going on in Detroit the same weekend. So, getting a better hotel to host a large group is difficult. There won't be any GROUP transportation available for this event. Try to secure a hotel between downtown and the airport. The two places we plan to visit as a group is between downtown and the airport. The last place we will visit on Saturday afternoon is near Ford's World Headquarters in Dearborn, MI. which is closer to the airport.
WE ARE HOLDING A FAMILY GET TOGETHER THIS YEAR! JOIN US, IF YOU CAN! THIS IS NOT A TRADITIONAL REUNION PROGRAM! Due to the continued inflation and former businesses closing, and regional COVID spikes, the current cost and location options of the reunion have canceled plans and has blown the planned reunion budget over last several years. But we won't let that stop us! We WILL restart our standard reunion schedule next year!
I didn't want FIVE YEARS to pass without us getting together! We couldn't get hotels, banquet halls, and events within our budget range! But, instead of letting another year pass without us trying to get together we have decided to invite ANY and ALL who can make it to come explore one of our original reunion destinations, Detroit, MI for the weekend!
DRIVE, FLY, or BUS yourselves to Detroit! We have planned a cookout, a MOTOWN Museum tour, and lots of family fun. Please check back to this page often.
We have hotel choices in mind, but we wanted to get a count of who is interested in joining us! We will commit to one hotel closer to the Detroit Metropolitan Airport, but you can choose your own if you plan to have your own transportation. But, you all can plan to use any other hotel in Downtown Detroit. Detroit has great options for FREE time nightlife and tourist attractions. Please feel free to book your airline tickets and hotel.
THE GET TOGETHER is planned for FRIDAY and SATURDAY unlike prior years! We will arrive and get together on Friday for a cookout in the park aat Historical Belle Isle. Saturday morning we will gather for a tour of the MOTOWN Museum and another tour of Ford's Automotive Innovation Museum!
The MOTOWN Museum is the birthplace of almost all the MOTOWN HITS, Men Groups, Girl Groups, Jackson 5, Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye, and many more groups you didn't even know were MOTOWN groups sold under different record labels. It is a facinating tour. YOU will get to sing within the same studios of your favorite recording STARS! I have reserved 40 tickets for us already! (5/10/2023)
